Asian Film Festival in Prague
Since 2005, Filmasia festival has been presenting the dynamic face of contemporary Asian cinema. It takes place in Prague in the first week of December each year. Filmasia screens films that have made a significant impact on audiences at international festivals and in cinemas around the world. Over the years, the festival has welcomed major Asian filmmakers such as Ann Hui, Mabel Cheung, Bong Joon-ho, Hou Hsiao-hsien and others.
FILMASIA PRESENTS
Filmasia Presents is a platform for the support, distribution and screening of Asian audio-visual works in the Czech Republic. The aim of the platform is to present Asian titles throughout the year, with the highlight being the Filmasia festival in December. Current audience hits, iconic milestones, new titles in wide distribution or one-off events. Filmasia Presents is an umbrella for all of this and much more.
